So I now have a note 1.2 acenta plus. I bought it on boxing day 2018. I like to service my cars myself so as to be sure of quality oils etc. I'll change the coolant. Would anybody know where the cylinder block drain plug is situated?.. No haynes manual for mk2 notes! Drat... ?

Do you have a owners hand book, that you keep in the glove box, that should tell you?
Going back to the towing problem, that should be in the hand book also. It does help if you read the hand book .

Removing the bottom hose from the radiiator usualy does the trick. You'll need to get under the car to do it.

I maybe correct, there is no drain tap on the Note. I have not seen one on any cars for years.

Thanks for that.. I have read that there is a drain tap under the radiator, but that it only partially drains the system. I'll need to do more research and I'll post up my progress ?

I've researched the official nissan workshop manual... There is an engine block drain plug in addition to a radiator butterfly valve... Happy days!, I'll get it changed when the weather improves
