Can I put the alloy wheels of a Note SE 2006 onto a Note Tekna 2009.

I want to put some winter tyres on these wheels. I know the wheels will fit on the car but the tyres are different with the SE having 185/65/15 and Tekna having 185/55/16.

Does anyone know if there is any technical setup between the two notes that would invalidate my insurance should I put these wheels on the Tekna.

I would assume not, but hopefully someone in the know can confirm.

Pretty sure you can swap them over.

The rolling circumference is about the same, with that wheel/tyre combo.

BUT......tell your insurance company. They will, or could duck out of any claim, as they could say they aren't original equipment for your car.

Any changes to your car, can possibly invalidate your insurance.

No problems. Look on some of the last pages of manual - you can find possible types of wheels. I change for winter to R15 and change back for summer to R16. All this types is in my table of wheels types. This is NOT changes in car. this is only wheels change and booth match the manufacturer _recomendations_!
