Hi, on my Note E12 Tekna auto, I have just noticed on the central instrument panel between the time display and the fuel consumption display a small symbol, a circle with a diagonal bar across it, rather like the planet Saturn. I don't recall seeing it before and I can't find anything in the hand book.
Has anyone any idea what this could be ?
Also at the same time my outside temperature display has disappeared and been replaced with three horizontal lines. I have seen other threads about this but it's the funny symbol I'm more concerned about.

It is covered in the handbook. (If you read between the lines and already know the answer )

It is the average symbol for the trip computer- the difference between instant MPG and average MPG is the circle with a slash through it. (page 2.2 & 2.3)

Generally, any major crisis that needs immediate attention would put on a red light with an equally incomprehensible symbol, any minor crisis that you can worry about when you get home has a yellow light.
