you need to put it in the correct folder for it to download also the poi files need to be in .csv format
you need to create 2 folders myPOIs and myPOIWarnings with in the first folder

x:\myPOIs\myPOIWarnings (where X:\ is you pen drive)

Also 32gb stick maybe to large

Goto pocketgpsworld.com and have a look under Speedcameras (subscribe now) there is a downloadable installation file for the connect.

You may need to convert your file into the correct format.

They are about the best place to get the camera files from too, but you have to pay.

The easiest thing to do, is don't exceed the speed limit. Then you won't need to bother with speed cams.

and this is why it's not working:
Note the following limitations when you use the FAT32 file system

<ul>[*]Clusters cannot be 64 kilobytes (KB) or larger. If clusters are
64 KB or larger, some programs (such as Setup programs) may incorrectly
calculate disk space.[*]A FAT32 volume must contain a minimum of
65,527 clusters. You cannot increase the cluster size on a volume that
uses the FAT32 file system so that it contains fewer than 65,527
clusters.[*]The maximum disk size is approximately 8 terabytes
when you take into account the following variables: The maximum possible
number of clusters on a FAT32 volume is 268,435,445, and there is a
maximum of 32 KB per cluster, along with the space required for the file
allocation table (FAT).[*]You cannot decrease the cluster size on a FAT32 volume so that the size of the FAT is larger than 16 megabytes (MB) minus 64 KB.
[*]You cannot format a volume larger than 32 gigabytes (GB) in
size using the FAT32 file system during the Windows XP installation
process. Windows XP can mount and support FAT32 volumes larger than 32
GB (subject to the other limits), but you cannot create a FAT32 volume
larger than 32 GB by using the Format tool during Setup. If you need to
format a volume that is larger than 32 GB, use the NTFS file system to
format it. Another option is to start from a Microsoft Windows 98 or
Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me) Startup disk and use the
Format tool included on the disk.
[/list]

Convert the FAT32 to NTFS and try again from scratch.

All this messing about with files and usb sticks, is it all worth it ? I still use maps and follow my nose , have travelled all over Europe without too much trouble. I must be some sort of Luddite!

I am also a stickler for obeying speed limits...I was once stopped by a panda car. This panda got out and made some VERY nasty remarks along the lines of 'And I suppose your name is Elephant Fittipaldi sir' etc etc.
The cheeky bamboo munching bugger! I felt like giving him a white eye...

i think they are a good thing to have , its easy when pulling away to reach 35 without realising and although you then slow down sods law will be you get flashed without even realising you were speeding so best to be safe than sorry ,plus the cameras are there as a deterent and positioned in accident hotspots so when you get a warning you know to take a bit of extra care as there have been a few problems there before

hi sando

there are different sets available , the pocketgps ones give speed of camera
, and if you have excel you can change the text that comes up in the box , mine says for example: 40MPH SPEED CAMERA AHEAD CRAIG . BEWARE!!!!

Set the cruise control to the required speed, and relax.
