Hi
I have just bought a Nissan Note 2011. I have seen various posts online about sleeping in the back. I am considering doing this every now and then for a day or two at most - I hate sleeping in tents. I am not tall so leg room would not be an issue. As when the back seat is down the base is not flat I wondered how this is achieved? Also, has anyone used a hatchback tent? and if so, what make please?

When i had the note and i needed to fold the rear seats down, the load floor was never one flat plane all the way. It had a "step" in it which sometimes hindered loading items, i don't think there is a way of making it flat without somehow raising the boot floor to match the level of the seats.
As for a "hatchback tent" sorry never heard of them.

Cant you just move the passenger seat fully forwards, and recline it flat, then move the rear seat until it joins? I don't know how strong it is, but that was how the Austin Maxi used to convert into a double bed, but the rear seat back used to fold the other way and make it 6 feet long.
