For quite some time now my sat nav has a message saying no sim card. Therefore I have to remove then replace card which works for only a few minutes, I have tried cleaning the contacts on the card but to no avail. I have also tried other sim cards but it won't recognise them. Can anyone help?

When i bought my Note just over two years ago the sat nav didn't work.
The 'sim card' appeared to be stuck.
So with some tweezers i managed to free the thing only to discover that some fiend had rammed a non note related metal ingot in the slot. (it was the kind of ingot that's attached to new trainers) I reckon the previous owner had a helpful child.
Anyway i bought a card on ebay for £8.
When it arrived i inserted it and bingo, all the maps fired up.
I've since bought a 2020 version card and that too works nicely.
I was lucky.
