hi.
Has anyone removed the rear seat squab on a note. I've just acquired a'10 N TEC and the rear seat smells like a dog. I was thinking of taking the cover off to clean it.
I thought if I removed it I could clean and dry it quicker in the garage. I'd appreciate any better ideas.

I would advise against removal of the seat fabric for washing, as it may shrink or distort and be a p.i.t.a. to refit. Try the baking soda as suggested, as it worked for me also.

There are upholstery cleaners for car fabrics, if you feel the need.

Yep, bicarbonate of soda sprinkled liberally, leave for a few hours then hoover out.
If that doesn't work the there are car 'deep cleaners' who can sanitise and deodourise ofetn quite reasonably.
