Bought a Tekna Auto on Saturday and now starting to do some research...

Looked on eurocarparts on Sunday and wondered why rear discs were more than twice the price of fronts - only noticed today what was hiding behind the rear wheels.

So, simple-ish swap or nightmare to change?

TIA.

Good luck in fitting pads on the back. The rear brakes are drums!

Anyone converted the rears to discs?

Nope. Mechanical converson may be simple but I bet the required changes electronics would be an absolute 'mare (if possible at all).

Most likely replacement rear drums are twice or more than front discs, as they are made from unobtanium, have the hub bearing carrier cast in place, and there isn't much demand for them.

Notes go through front discs at an alarming rate, especially autos.

Thankfully the Pagid front disks aren't too badly priced.
