My Note has rattleing brake Pads when i drive at about 30mph in a low gear.
If i put my foot on the brake lightly it stops. I have copper slipped the backs where the piston goes & the luggs on the pad. It seams to be better when i do this but soon comes back.

I noticed on the s/s sliders which the pad luggs go have some pitting on which looks like the pads have done.

Can anybody sergest something i can do as it now getting on my nerves

The pads rattle if there is too much clearance somewhere.
The copaslip on the back (should really be Poly Butyl Cuprysil [about £50 a tub from Nissan] or silicon grease in case it touches rubber) should stop squealing, along with the tapered lead on the pads.
Check the discs for run out.
Make sure the silver springy pad retainers are fitted at each end of the pads.

The only other things I can think of are worn wheel bearings or the rubbers are sticking on the pistons in the callipers.

The stainless steelspring retainers should be replaced with each pad change as they lose their temper( and for sneaky, it doesn't mean they get angry, you naughty efalump)over time with the heat etc as well as the corrosion problem not helping.
