Had my 1.5ntec diesel 2011 model 1 week. just doing the under bonnet checks and found the top of both suspension bolts, just under the windscreen full of water(it has been raining!). Possible design flaw or fault in the water proofing or drainage. I dont know, but I will have to try to find out as the nuts will rust and cause problems.

They all do that Sir!

Have a search on here

Solutions range from sandwich boxes to resealing the scuttle.

My personal favourite is take loads of no notice, followed by park in a garage (pity mine is full of junk).

No worries!

We feel smug when we can help

Now if you want design flaws, wait until a damp morning and wind your window down when you have just started the engine, the fanbelt squeals like the devil (at least on a petrol) and to adjust it the entire car has to come apart (although I do believe that the nearside rear wheel can be left on
)
Most people spray belt dressing or pledge at it every couple of weeks.
