it could be a number of things, you need a torch and the car up in the air iirc the oil pump sits just behind the bottom pulley

While it's leaking, park it on next doors drive

 

Garage find that the sump has become porous , not that uncommon , however a bit strange after 4.5 years , 30000 miles . Had look while car on ramp , top seam of sump does look like corrosion is developing . Obviously they will replace gasket , oil and filter .

 

there is no gasket is just a liquid epoxy seal
