Simple question to which I'm sure somebody has a quick answer for.

I had a look at a used pre-facelift note yesterday. It hadn't been serviced at all for it's first two years of life ~25000 miles. Is this good enough? I'd have thought it should have had the oil changed every year or 10,000 miles. Does anybody know Nissan'srecommendationsfor this?

Many thanks.

Long overdue, as I thought.

I know that when I finally buy a note i'll change the oil every year, so makes sense to avoid buying one which hasn't been looked after as well.
Thanks for the help.

the service booklet for mine states 12.5k mile intervals for oil and filters but the FSM is as above, more frequently is always better as oil is still cheaper than a new engine for now.

With motors these days, the mileage interval isn't all that big a deal. Modern engines recommend anything between 9 and 20 thousand miles. What they almost all recommend is once a yearirrespectiveof mileage.
