I have a Note (2006 around 75,000 on the clock). It wouldn't start this morning. Thought it might be the battery so I charged it until the charger registered that it was fully charged. Still not luck, just turns over. The wipers barely move and the headlights seem pretty dim. Tried jumping it from an old Zafira with an old battery. That didn't work. My question is: could it still be the battery despite registering as fullt charged? If so is it worth changing the battery before taking it to the garage. It appears to be the original Nissan battery.

To be fair to it a seven year old battery is probably knackered. It may show fully charged but break down under the significant load of starting.

Your garage will probably have a 'powerstarter' which they can try before you replace the battery.
