My CTR waslowered on Eibach springs, JDM Thicker ARB, Torque damper, Front and rear Tower strut bars, Lower tie-bar, Spoon 4-pot calipers, Jackson Racing Manifold, Full Spoon N1 exhaust system

yeh , im a detailer

it was wet sanded when i first got it and every 3 months it gets the works

jet wash
snow foam
washed with ph neutral shampoo using a wookie mitt
clayed
rotary machine polisher to remove swirls
da machined polisher to finish the prep
ipa wipedown
rims de-ironised then sealed
plastics coated and sealed
then 2 coats of nano sealent (my current prefered finish)
or 2 coats of wax (swissvax shield is my favourite)
all glass has g-techniq's g1/2/4 on them , great stuff , when travelling over 40mph theres no need for wipers

heres mine in action

[TUBE]0XQrWhUCI-Q[/TUBE]

after 3 months the bonnet ends up pretty much like this due to using detailing sprays to keep shiny inbetween so it gets the rotary treatment

but after a couple of hours with the rotary polisher it ends up like this

and as for kit
, dont get me started

heres my mobile kit

sorry , its a passion of mine and i get carried away sometimes

happy to help if anyone has any questions on products technique's ect as ive pretty much tried them all over the years

business is quiet this time of year so im happy to help if your passing guys
, i could have your notes looking like new

flash: yes headlights are rotary polished to shine like the paint work

i use 10,000,000 candle luminem torches for swirl spotting and a paint detective depth gauge to see how much paint i have to work with

g-techniq's do some great stuff , all expensive but with them you get what you pay for

poorboys touchless wheel wash is my favourite product of all time

it gets bloody expensive , my kit averages at any one time at about £3000 but i have to have everything to cover any situation and any car paint

wax's are the biggest expense for good quality ones , i have around 5/7 pots at any one time to suit different situations and colours but for example my swissvax shield costs £130 a pot

detailing is addictive , hard work but when you see the finished article its all worth it , the average detail i do takes 5/7 hrs without stopping , its hard to have breaks as most products are timed on the car so while one is working you put on another so you are going non stop , but i love it

By the way, did I ever tell you about my acting career? Here is a photo of me with none other than Mr ADAM WEST!!!
This was taken in 1966, and Mr West was a very nice man, in fact he gave me buns to eat and a ride in the Batmobile afterwards! (TRUE)
