What would be best to free up sticky/stiff door handle mechanism, WD40, silicon spray or something else.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Any suggestions most welcome, thanking you in advance.

Silicone spray would be best as WD40 dries out and becomes sticky very quickly! or if you can find some, a teflon spray lube though not cheap.

Teflon/PTFE spray lube.

A LITTLE goes a long way and is available at a good price as 'PTFE chain lubricant' from the bike section at Halfords.

silcone sprayor a dry lube
wd40 is a good degreaser and coolant when cutting or drilling metal but as above it drys out and goes horrid

the best oil Ihave used so far is gun oil as its got an anti corrosive in it i lubed up a padlock on the shed with gun oil 2 years later its still like a new lock - nice and easy to turn the key

oh and it keeps my rifles clean and rust free
