Hi folks,

I've owned my 63 plate Note since March, had a few teething problems a month after getting it but happily they were eventually sorted out (long story) . Anyway I have a wee bit of a situation right now....

I have accidentally just put my key and remote on a quick 30 minute wash!! I currently have the whole thing on a clean, dry cloth, button side down and hoping that I haven't killed the poor thing off!

Any advice would be appreciated, once you have had a good laugh at my stupidity 🤣.

Ps it seemed to have ended up in the rubber seal and the front of the door for the majority of it's burl in the washing machine 🙄

Open it up as if you were changing the battery, and ensure that it is dry inside.
Leave it to air dry, then reassemble and hope.
People say to put wet electronics in a bag of dried rice to draw the moisture out, no need if you can take it apart though.
