Hi Guys,<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Not had need to yet, but thought I would try to fold flat the rear seats.
The smaller section dropped no problem, but the larger section would not budge!
The release catch on the side that works has a definite unlocking feel at the full latch lift back, but the other side has no such feeling?
Anyone else suffered from this and if so how did you cure it?
Thanks for any replies in advance

Unfortunately Yes, on mine the first time I wanted to drop one! I had to pull the latch so hard it finally released with a bang and I thought I had snapped it, after that it was fine.

When I saw the thread heading, I thought sneakyheffalump had been up to his tricks.

Yep.....same here. Gave it a huge tug, and it released. All greased up now.

I did wonder about the legs, as I was reasonably sure elephants were vegetarians.

Good shot sneaky.

Hi Guys,<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Thank you all for the input so far.
Good news the other one's now dropped!
Believe it or believe it not here's what I did:-
1) raised fully and lowered fully both of the rear headrest's on the faulty side
2) pulled back firmly on the top of the rear set back, halfway along using right hand
3) at the same time fully lifting the seat back release lever using left hand-and to my surprise, nah astonishment the seat back fell forward
I was at the time chanting ""Alakazan, open sesame"" * whether this was any influence I do not know.
Anyway for any one with the same problem it may also work for you.
All the best Spartacus1961

* I am available for the panto season; you should see my widow Twankey!
