Hi mates.


I own a Nissan Note, N-Tech and I want to know that how can I update the N-Connect system?

Can you guys give me step by step guide please?

update it what way ?? if its maps you need to buy a new map on a sd card

I want to install speed camera warning etc. but I am not sure what formate of maps I need to download and can I also use any other sort of SD card and will it work with my n-connect system? I got 59 reg, n-tec car.

sd card wise its 8gb limit on the newer connects, poi's need to be in csv format (garmin)
poi's and poi warning are installed via a usb stick

If I install Garmin csv files into my computer, do I have to copy these files on the same sd card in my car or I can use any other new SD card?

Does Nissan update its n-connect software to add more functions?

I tried to copy some CSV files on the disks but it would NOT let me copy files, its WRITE PROTECTED disk.....

The sd card is for the maps ONLY
you need to have a usb drive aka a usb memory stick and put them into the correct folder, plug the usb stick into the car then i will load automatically

there are full instructions in the connect user manual

I just downloaded UK camera files but I am not sure if I downloaded the right files. As these files are consist of some small pictures and Microsoft Excel files....

I got these files from the net and I hope they wont mess up with n-connect software....

thay wont, you can aways remove them if thay dont work, the connect systemruns on aencrypted firmware whats next to imposable to break
