Hi, not commenting on this specific issue, but for these cases I usually download Google Translate on my phone, it can translate real-time via the camera viewfinder on your phone. Helps out a lot with navigating menus in foreign languages - don't need to understand a word. Just point your camera at the text and it'll translate on the fly.

I assume you have a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) car.

Unfortunately

The question came up before on here, and the consensus was there is no English menu option, they wouldn't need it on a JDM car.
