Hi, my door open light is staying on when all doors are closed.Also noticed that when I come to lock the car the indicator lights do not flash but the car is locked, open it and the indicator lights flash.

I have the same issue but also want to know if this would also cause my alarm to keep going off as it all started on the same day.
I tried WD40 on all the door catches but it didn’t help, I’m now resorting to manually locking the door to avoid the alarm randomly going off.
Would a diagnostics check pinpoint what’s going on?

Have any error codes read at a garage or if you have on OBDII scanner read them yourself.
It could be simply a short somewhere or a component failing.
