It's one of those continental Land Rovers with the trunk in the front.

I agree Nigel, but it's the large rear end that spoilt it.

Continuing on withthe large theme, I learnt to drive on a Willys Ford Jeep and went on to pass my test in a largeScammell breakdown truck - 19 mph flat out!! This was in the 50s and I was in the army (REME) and stationed in the Pied Piper town of Hamelin, Germany. Driving it on the 'wrong' side of the road, as it were, and complete with 'L' plates,Iremember beinggiven a wide berth by the German motorists. Never managed to hit any of them so passed with flying colours.
To indicate I was turning left Ineeded to slide out a long, pointedmetal 'indicator' which was painted red and white. Just about had to leave my seat to reach theruddy thing! :) Happy days as they say, for me anyway.
