Hi,ive got a Note N-Tec 2010.Prob ive got is,done full service @ home.Bro's helped me but when he tries to conect with his tablet,it cant find the wifi so dont know what to do now.Any help appriciated.
My Brother has the OBDII, but had no cable. Not sure what you want with wifi when you have done a car service.
The car does not have wifi if you are trying to read error codes stored by the car, then you need an OBDII reader.
The reader does not use wifi, you can get similar readers in software format for use on tablets or laptops but then you need the cable to connect from the tablet or laptop to your car.
The cable needed may well cost as much as a reader would.
ODB2 readers bluetooth type for use with Android phones or pads are available from Amazon for a few bob. For iPhone you need the WiFi type. You need search for ELM 327 ODB2 dongles. Best to use with the Car Scanner app. the Torque app is a bit useless. However you won't get deep enough to see all data, just the basics. It is not fully Consul diagnose app laptop compatible. Not that Consul wil bring you far anywhere also.Thankyou very much.
