Malfunction indicator light is on in my 63 plate tekna.

I have two messages on my own car reader. One is the glow plug circuit A and the other is ash accumulation in exhaust.

Took it to be serviced and the garage's code reader has different messages - not surprising as mine was a £24 quid one from Amazon. Theirs's is basically an adblue exhaust fluid replacement. Car doesn't have adblue and there's no fluid in the exhaust. Garage has spoken to Nissan and they don't know either why it would have that message.

Anyone with any experience of this or any ideas. Nissan want a photo of the card reader error message as though just reading it out doesn't give them all the info.

I don't have a diesel myself, but the only connection i can crudely make re fluid/exhaust is in the DPF filter.
I believe on some vehicles they can have a renewable gel.
(The wife's previous ford needed the dpf cleaned and then a re gel)
Not sure with the Nissan/Renault diesel... Hopefully someone else can give you useful advise.
