I have a Nissan note Naru edition 2016.
does the car automatically lock its doors if it is left immobile for a while in case I forget locking?

When i owned a Note, it did lock itself if left untouched. Not sure how long it took though.
Being a non uk variant, your car may be different. try unlocking it and then leave it alone and see what happens.

Once, our car's battery was flatted out and the doors were still unlocked. Not sure it was because we forgot to lock or because one door was still half open.
