Hi can anyone help bought this car 2 days ago it's a 2014 nissan note 1.2dig-s tekna.
Having gone out in it today I put the air con on only to hear a noise coming from the motor in the dash not under bonnet
It sounded as though something is trapped in the motor,is there an easy option to get to the air con motor, .

Sounds like the motor is on the way, which was a fairly common fault with the earlier models(E11), and for knowledgeable mechanic should be able to get it out in about 40 minutes or so., plus another 40 -50 to put blower back and most of the dash that was needed to remove it.
Not sure about the E12 though, but I'd guess it's very similar to the E11.

There is a way to remove the blower from the drivers footwell on the E11, not sure again about the E12. The blower is about £85 -£100 and it's made by Valeo.

IF it is the blower and you have to replace it, do not use full power, as that can wreck the bearing, as sometimes the fan isn't that well balanced and it breaks itself against the housing.

Hi all. I know how to help you solve the problem. There is a way to get to the air conditioner engine quickly. But I don't know if I should do it myself. I had a problem with the air conditioner once. I listened to people on the forum and went to fix it myself. It was a big mistake because I made it worse. I broke it more. I had to give it to them, if I had given it to them, it would have been much cheaper, and they would have done it quicker. So I decided that if there is any problem, especially with the car, I immediately give it to the masters. I was also lucky that I found an outstanding company where they are professionals. I hope that I can help you with your information. 7days Aircon Servicing

I got a load of leaves dragged into mine as my car was parked under a tree for a couple of years and stupid me didn't think to clear the inlets before firing it up and setting the quick clear windscreen away on a morning

If anyone does have any info on stripping the system then I'd much appreciate it...

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but did you check the cabin filter before going further?

Hi! Car air conditioners in general often break down. Sometimes the cause is a leak of liquid, and there do not seem to be any breakdowns, but still its level must be constantly checked. It is clear that when the air conditioner breaks down, there are many unpleasant situations. And it's just unpleasant to go on business at least. And its very dangerous . I would advise you to contact specialists Aircon Leaking Water - Aircon Dripping Water | SoCool Pte Ltd . I have been serving them for a long time. Very cool guys.

No they don't. Had A/C on 10 cars for approx 23 years now and the only issues were a loss of gas on one, refilled under warranty and no more issues and a holed condenser on one (stone at a giuess) which was replaced under warranty.

I know it's a while ago now but the answer to the OP should have been to take the car back since they had only owned it 2 days.

Nice to see that the OP has never posted again. Perhaps the mods should remove the accounts of people who do this.
