Nissan has introduced in Japan the Nismo and Nismo S versions of the Note, following an announcement made late July.
These two niche models come with a more aggressive body finished in gray, black silver or white with red accents and riding on 16-inch wheels (17-inch for Nismo S). Both of them benefit from suspension tweaks, a shark fin antenna, LED daytime running lights while the S also has stiffer braces along with aluminium pedals, sportier gauge cluster, suede upholstery and bespoke shift knob.
The Nissan Note Nismo is powered by a standard 1.2-litre engine mated to a CVT whereas the Note Nismo S comes with a larger 1.6-litre delivering through a five-speed manual gearbox 138 bhp at 6,400 rpm which makes it 29 bhp more powerful than the stock engine. Aside from the beefier motor, the Note Nismo S also comes with a sportier exhaust system, a high-flow intake manifold and brake discs on all wheels.
