does anybody know if water pump is driven by the timing belt in Note DCI?,

It looks, from the workshop manual (EM-13), as if the configuration of the auxilliary drive belt is the same for both petrol and diesel.
 
So the answer to your question is no the cambelt does not drive the water pump.

Hi
just change timing belt in my Note 1.5 HDI and just want to confirm that water pump is driven by timing (cam) belt, so it is recommended to change water pump together with cam belt as is part of his tension rollers.
